Delivery


We strongly recommend that if you need an item by a certain date or special occasion, you pay extra for Special Delivery at the time of ordering. This is the only postage service we use that guarantees an exact delivery date.

Free Returns (UK only)

We offer all our UK customers free returns using Royal Mail’s Second Class post service. Free returns only applies to items sent directly from Tiger Milly.

Items purchased from other Merchants have different return procedures and postage will need to be paid to return items directly back to them. Merchants returns policy can be found on individual listings.

When an order is placed for items sold by Tiger Milly and different Merchants, then the freepost label will only be able to be used to return items purchased directly from Tiger Milly. If items are returned back to Tiger Milly that were sent out by other Merchants, then a postage fee will be deducted from the refund amount to cover the cost of forwarding the items back to that Merchant(s).

UK Delivery

Standard Second Class Delivery (Free to the whole of the UK)
Delivery time approximately 2-3 working days. Please note Royal Mail’s delivery guidelines for Second Class post are anything from 2-15 working days and exact delivery dates can’t be guaranteed. On occasions, items will take longer than 3 working days to arrive which is beyond our control.

*All items fulfilled by Tiger Milly are sent free to the whole of the UK. Some merchant sellers on our website may charge a delivery fee. Any delivery charges will be shown at checkout, before payment.

First Class Recorded Delivery
This service costs £1.00 and a signature will be required on delivery. Please note Recorded Delivery isn’t any faster than normal First Class delivery. You are paying for a signature to be obtained on delivery. Delivery guidelines are 1-2 working days but on occasions, items can take longer which is beyond our control. Again, Royal Mail’s delivery guidelines are to allow anything from 1-15 working days.

Next Day, Special Delivery (Monday-Friday, excluding Bank Holidays)
This service costs £7.50 and is recommended for customers who want an item by a specific date. Please note Special Delivery may not be available on certain merchant seller orders. The option for next day, special delivery, will be shown at the checkout stage, before payment. If the option for Special Delivery isn’t available then it means that particular merchant seller is unable to offer this service.

If you purchase an item from Tiger Milly and another Merchant in the same order and pay for Special Delivery at checkout, then the Tiger Milly item will be sent by Special Delivery but the other item may not have the option for next day, Special Delivery and may therefore be sent by standard mail.

Cut-off dispatch time for Special Delivery items is 1.00pm (Mon-Fri). Orders received after 1pm will be sent the next working day. Therefore if you order an item after 1pm on a Thursday with Special Delivery postage, then your order will be dispatched on Friday, to be delivered by Royal Mail on Monday.

Next Day, Saturday Guaranteed Delivery
This service costs £10.00. Orders must be placed and paid for by 1pm Friday. Orders received after 1pm on Friday will not be dispatched.

If you purchase an item from Tiger Milly and another Merchant in the same order and pay for Special Delivery at checkout, then the Tiger Milly item will be sent by Saturday Guaranteed Delivery but the other item may not have the option for this service and may therefore be sent by standard mail.

Note:

Whilst we will try our best to follow out delivery instructions, we will not leave notes for items to be left in any bins or boxes outside or thrown over gates or left outside doors.

Expensive items or high value orders will not be left in any safe place though we are happy to instruct delivery companies to leave with neighbours at your risk. Please note delivery methods and courier companies used are at our discretion. When Special Delivery (Next Day) delivery is paid for, orders will be sent by either Royal Mail's next day service (to be delivered by 1pm next working day) or by a courier company (to be delivered any time next working day).

For both these services a signature will be required on delivery and if no one is there to accept the parcel, the item will be returned to the local sorting office or courier depot for the customer to collect or contact to re-arrange delivery.

On occasions we will send items by Royal Mail signed for service (even when the customer hasn't paid for this service) and again, a signature will be required on delivery.

European Delivery (EU)

Please note we can’t give exact delivery dates for items posted outside the UK.

Standard Airmail Service
Please allow approximately 1-4 weeks for delivery. This postal service has no tracking number.

International Signed-For Delivery Service
This service is recommended to customers outside the UK who want a faster delivery service. Please allow approximately 7 working days for items to be delivered.

This delivery service has a tracking number and can be tracked initially on www.royalmail.com up to when it leaves the UK. It can then be tracked again once the item has arrived in the destination Country using that Country’s national postal service website but this service isn’t available in all Countries.

Worldwide Delivery (outside EU)

Please note we can’t give exact delivery dates for items posted outside the UK.

Standard Airmail Service
Please allow approximately 3-4 weeks for delivery depending on Customs clearance. Deliveries to USA will take approximately 4 weeks. All items will need to clear Customs and this can result in slight delays beyond our control. Standard Airmail has no tracking number.

International Signed-For Delivery Service
This service is recommended to customers outside the UK who want a faster delivery service. Please allow approximately 2-3 weeks. Please note that on occasions it can take longer due to delays at Customs which are beyond our control.

Delivery – Miscellaneous

All delivery times stated above are approximate guidelines.

Tiger Milly and our Merchants reserve the right to change which postal service they use to suit the order and in some instances, courier services will be used.

Split orders being delivered to UK postal address:
When customers purchase an item from Tiger Milly and from one of our merchants at the same time, the items will be dispatched separately and therefore may arrive at different times.

Split orders being delivered outside the UK:
When customers outside the UK purchase an item from Tiger Milly and from one of our merchants at the same time, then there are two postal options a customer can choose. The first is ‘Supersaver’ which will mean the merchant will send the item to Tiger Milly rather than direct to the customer. Tiger Milly will then forward all items together to the customer. This will result in a slight delay in posting the items to the customer but a tracked service will be used which is generally a faster service than if items had been dispatched separately by different merchants.

Alternatively customers can pay a standard international charge which will mean the orders are sent separately from each individual merchant.
